Helpfulitem.com guarantees the safe arrival of any product it ships. In the event that the customer is at the shipping address
at the time of delivery, the customer should immediately inspect the outer box for any rips, tears, of evidence of damage. The
customer should then open up the box and inspect the product for any damages. In the event that the product is damaged, the customer
shall refuse delivery of product and immediately contact the Customer Care Department
or call (866) 299-8963 to discuss the replacement of such product.
In the event that the customer is not at the shipping address at the time of delivery, the customer shall open up and perform
the inspection described above within forty eight (48) hours of receipt. Again, in event of damage, please contact us immediately.
Helpfulitem.com reserves the right to refuse the replacement of any damaged product that was not reported within forty eight (48) hours
or in accordance with this policy.
In the event that helpfulitem.com takes responsibility for replacing a damaged product, the customer is required to store the
damaged product until such point in time where the damaged product has been inspected by the carrier/shipping company and a settlement
agreement has been reached between the carrier/shipping company and helpfulitem.com. This process usually takes between twenty five (25)
and forty five (45) days. Failure, on the part of the customer, to store the damaged product for required amount of time, or to allow its
inspection by the appropriate party, will result in the customer being charged for the damaged unit.
